The Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology (CAAT) Pension Plan has announced the appointment of Paul Lai Fatt and Karen Burnett as Directors, Pension Solutions.
Both will join fellow directors Sabeen Purewall, Haris Sardar and Graham Stone in supporting the not-for-profit’s mission of bringing lifetime retirement security to more workplaces across the country.
According to a press release, Lai Fatt is CAAT Pension Plan’s first employee in the Atlantic Region. Prior to joining CAAT, Paul was a consulting actuary and has provided strategic advice on pension reform, design, merger and sustainability matters for public and private sector pension plan stakeholders in the region. Meanwhile, Burnett has worked in the actuarial and pension consulting field for almost three decades. She has extensive experience in strategically advising clients on pension plan design, implementation and administration, and providing analysis and advice related to the financing of benefit plans.
