Lush will close its BC woodshop and relocate some staff, with changes set to be complete by February
Lush, the UK-based cosmetics brand, is scaling down operations in Vancouver and laying off staff as part of its efforts to streamline operations in Canada, as per BNN Bloomberg.
Amanda Caruso, a spokesperson for the company, did not disclose how many workers will be affected, citing privacy concerns.
However, Caruso confirmed that Lush will close its woodshop in British Columbia and shift manufacturing operations from Vancouver to Toronto.
Caruso stated the goal of these changes is to achieve operational efficiency and ensure the brand’s long-term success.
She added that these adjustments will not have any immediate effect on Lush’s shops, online store, or app services, and that some staff will be relocated or transitioned into new roles.
The changes are expected to be completed by February 26.
