Elite cohort of pension and group benefits consultants celebrated in new list
Benefits and Pensions Monitor today revealed its Top Consultants 2024 list. The list of 20 firms includes some of the top names in benefits & pensions consultancy. Qualification for the list was determined by a strict scrutinization of each firm’s accomplishments and distinct service offering.
The result is a list of leaders who have shown the value they can create for clients.
“We put our clients first and advocate for them,” says Joseph Chan of Looniewell, one of the 2024 winners. Looniewell is a total rewards specialist, with offerings across the compensation, benefits, and retirement spaces. They pride themselves on a holistic view and a frank, discursive approach.
“We don’t just do spreadsheets and decks. We take the lead on execution and communication, and really take care of our clients in ways others don’t in the industry,” adds Chan.”
Another honouree, Elegant Investment Solutions, specializes in the investment consultancy realm. Their recognized success comes from specialist expertise in Defined Contribution plans, though their services extend to DB, foundation, and endowment clients as well. Their goal is to improve decision making, enhance the risk-return profile of portfolios, and control fiduciary risk.
George & Bell Consulting was also named on the top consultants list. The Vancouver-based firm offers a value proposition based on local knowledge and a thoughtful, hands-on approach. They tie success to client satisfaction, rather than the cookie-cutter KPIs that a larger firm might apply.
Selectpath Benefits & Financial Inc. was included in this list for a benefit and insurance service that goes beyond just offering products. Their focus is on retaining organizational competitiveness, in part through the selection of the right benefits and pension plans.
London, Ontario’s The Benefit Solution was named as well for the work it has done filling a void in the group benefit and pension marketplace. For 21 years founder Darryl Davis has worked to ensure that the broker and benefit landscape is no longer underserved.
