Firm upgrades employee benefits with partnership
Segic, a technology company specializing in group and individual benefits solutions, has unveiled new employee benefits aimed at enhancing access to education savings in the Canadian market. The company achieved this milestone through a partnership with Kaleido, a provider of education savings plans (RESPs) based in Quebec.
Driven by its growth in Canada and global expansion plans, Segic sought out suppliers that could cater to employees enrolled in group insurance plans, self-employed individuals, and associations. The company's Benefits Marketplace, an integral part of the Segic platform, serves as a hub for connecting these individuals with diverse services.
"Segic has developed a platform over the past eight years to manage group insurance plans from administration to claim payment. However, as the market evolves, organizations want to take a global approach and offer a selection of benefits based on the employee's needs," said Danny Boulanger, president and CEO, Segic.
By teaming up with Kaleido, Segic empowers its clients to take full advantage of flexible RESPs and exclusive family support and education benefits. These offerings seamlessly integrate into the comprehensive suite of group benefits available in Segic’s marketplace.
"For example, organizations without group insurance will be able to offer Kaleido's turnkey investment products and family support services through Segic platform's Benefits Marketplace," said Boulanger.
Kaleido has been a pioneer in the field of education savings, catering to families in Quebec and New Brunswick since 1964.
"Segic and Kaleido share a common vision of providing accessible solutions to support the development and well-being of employees and their families," said Isabelle Grenier, president and CEO, Kaleido.
"We are pleased to work with Segic to encourage employees to invest in their children's future and take advantage of the many benefits offered by our education savings and family support programs, such as resources in family finance, tutoring and academic support, health, family coaching or career guidance, for example."
