The employers were evaluated through eight criteria
Mediacorp Canada Inc., the organizers of the annual Canada’s Top 100 Employers project, has unveiled the Southwestern Ontario’s Top Employers (2024).
“We are honoured to be able finally to bring readers stories about the best employers in Southwestern Ontario,” said Anthony Meehan, publisher of the Canada’s Top 100 Employers project.
“The region tells a compelling story through its history, its people, and the wide variety of industries that make up Southwestern Ontario's employment landscape – many of our editorial team live or have lived in the region, so we know it well,” he added.
This year’s winners showed a trend in employers providing support for employees wanting to start a family and significant opportunities for professional development and investments in training as well as incentives for active participations in their community.
“At the employer level, there is remarkable support for employee training and development,” said Kristina Leung, managing editor at Mediacorp.
“We see the best employers putting in place organizational practices that will stand the test of time, so these organizations will improve alongside their employees,” she added.
“We've been collecting stories on its employers for over a decade, now we're confident that we can showcase the very best in the region,” said Meehan.
